Following engagement with our members at a Members Meet-Up in 2024, Voluntary Health Scotland submitted a response to the Disclosure Scotland fees consultation. VHS Chief Executive Tejesh Mistry has commented on the decision not to replace the current fee waiver for volunteers in Qualifying Voluntary Organisations (QVOs) with a fee discount.
VHS are delighted that the Scottish Government have recognised the vital role of volunteers and the impact they have in their communities. Thanks to all our members who contributed their feedback which fed into our response.
