DESCRIPTION:VHS 2nd Members Meet Up on Zoom \nWednesday 1 April at 2-3pm \nVHS would like to invite you to our first virtual members meet up on Wednesday 1 April at 2pm via Zoom. \nDuring this challenging time we want to offer a space to connect and share with other VHS members. VHS is keen to hear how organisations and their service users are affected\, what organisations are trying to do to reconfigure services and activities\, as that will help us understand what more we could do to help. \nThis is the first meeting and will help form the shape of our future meet ups. We will be in touch with the new meeting dates we will schedule very soon. \nPlease email me at lauren.blair@vhscotland.org.uk to register a place. \nWe are going to keep the meeting attendance capped at 20 for this initial meeting so please get in to touch register. DESCRIPTION:VHS are hosting a joint meeting with NES Digital Service- NHS National Education Scotland\, to discuss the digital divide implications of Covid-19 on health. \nVHS and NHS NES are keen to hear how third sector organisations and the people they support are affected by the way the current crisis is driving many services and activities online. What is the impact of this for people with no or little access to digital technology\, or who cannot easily understand or use digital technology\, or for whom a digital service is not appropriate? How are third sector organisations re-configuring services and support to meet these challenges and what barriers are they trying to overcome. Is the move to digital during the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbating health inequalities or opening up new and better ways to support people in future? \nPlease email me at lauren.blair@vhscotland.org.uk to register a place. \nWe are going to keep the meeting attendance capped at 20 for this initial meeting so please get in to touch register.
