Health charity leaders in conversation with Pennie Taylor

25/05/2016 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

A post-election agenda for health

Wednesday 25th May 8.30 am -10.30am

The Place Hotel, 34-38 York Place, Edinburgh

Join VHS for an informal and lively discussion over breakfast, animated by award-winning journalist and broadcaster Pennie Taylor.

After the dust has settled on the Scottish Elections, this is a timely opportunity to take stock, consider the prognosis for population and individual health, and set out a voluntary sector agenda for change. Have voluntary health sector manifestos and hustings had an impact on political thinking? What opportunities do a new Parliamentary session, new Scottish Government and new Ministers offer? What challenges does the coming Referendum on Europe pose? What will develop from the National Clinical Strategy for Scotland? VHS Summary – National Clinical Strategy for Scotland – May 2016

Aided by our panel of insightful health charity leaders, Pennie Taylor will challenge and invite delegates to debate their expectations and ambitions for health.
